This forum has a clear track record of not wanting to talk about these issues. If you cannot run a decent set of punkbuster checks because your paying for a cheap server cramming loads of ports on a single box then thats your look out as an admin / clan. You have the players playing I honestly think it's about time you looked at improving the standard of public play. There is all the information you need out there to do this all that it doesn't have is serious players willing to set an example and as a consequence of this the anti cheat measures are non existent, except maybe for a hunch........

Crazy if you ask me, still as you say is up to you, you obviously know what you are doing. Just because I disagree and am prepared to debate like an adult does not make me patronising, you either accept that most E+ public server standards are a sub standard or not.

Without proper research on your part looking into ways of improving server peformance with PunkBuster and the claim that people were lagging during clan wars the cheaters always have an excuse, in effect your helping them, this must make people wonder why? If you really wanted PunkBuster used you would use it and make sure the community knew how too, my ten year old son uses PWEB without any hassle, says a lot really

If we are to presume that the community sets it's own standards, then it is fair to say that the standards set for public server play in an anti cheat capacity are sub standard.

I think I saw someone cheating lastnight, they were really good and beat me hands down, my mate spectated him and thought he was also. I have emailed the admin of the server just thought I would share it with you. My other friend who also hates this guy made a demo you can download here, my fourth friend took screenies you can download them here.

With this evidence, the sworn testimony of four friends and hopefully a condump from the server admin we can nail this sucker and call him a cheat!

sure they do, they are called admins, you may see a few, including myself

and trust me, there would be far less cheaters banned if admins didnt get peeps on msn saying they suspect someone, i would only agree public cheat naming is harsh unless prooven by pb or demo, but once prooven every person should be warned of the lamer.

now its nice you have an opinion on this but you dont run many servers so its falling on deaf years im afriad, most server owners have run servers for a long long time, and they know themselves how best to run servers, ever wonder why most bro, mr, 2sweet and r0 servers are simular with regards to pb? cause those who know best choose how to use it
