just for info, i have my knowledge from the time of building x-nature.cfg (which is still pretty much played), which is suposed to be mix of e5 and bro.cfg
in this time we collected tons of suggestions. and if we use that suggestions just for bro/plus/nh-style without aspects of e5, it could help a bit.
i will have soon a lot of more time (lost my gf)

About multiplejumps, as you said those that "know" don't use them much to move and not so much for midair movement (cause the jump can be heard by the enemy but when you simply "float" with 900 ups he can't hear you)
ok, to say something helpfully, how about reducing rg power to 300 damage instead of 900, so, if u take armor, u dont get killed with 1 rail?
I also would love to play without multjumps, since u can reach each point with nade or rocketjump. so, instead of using mj, u use a nade to get high and switch fast to rg to kill.
Funny,I was suggesting the same things couple of months ago [remove multijumps and make rail kill with 2 shots],if I would try really hard I could find those posts via search.Removing multijumps will bring creativity in moving and moves in general,maybe more ppl will learn how to strafe jump,to create a rail that insta kills only when u dont have armor is a good idea.
Ye Ratz, Pan already referenced to the thread in which you posted, i remember that.. it was Tar's thread about creating a more "tactical" cfg. Damn, never thought anyone would seriously think about actually creating a config that would emply at least some of the features Tar talked about \:D/
multijumps gives the game more flow, some bfg moves are just possible with multijumps, bfg jumping on dm17 is insane without multijumps.
multijumps are important for making a big difference between e5r and bro.cfg
btw @ railkill with 300 damage:
i suxx if some1 just takes an armor shard and overlive a insane rail and jus shoot u.
if he would miss u just can use the sg to kill him imo not the best way.
but we could change the splash of bfg and rocketlauncher a bit.
imo its just lol if u dont have much life left and moving through rocketspamm and one kills u by nooby bigrange splash
and btw were not in osp clanarena (u need 3 rails for one kill) we should stick to one rail kill, doesnt matter what armor (and btw u can overlive a rail take a regeneration and 400 armor and u got over 1000 life so u can overlife one rail.)
the weapons are well balanced on plus and nh cfg ( dont like originally bro ) but what isnt balanced are the powerups.
imo turning them on is against the excessiveplus rule that all weapons and all enemys can kill the enemy easily, the quad gives an unfair advantage on some weapons, invisible is just lame, haste let u fire much faster and shield makes u nearly immortal against bfg ( against rail too if u drop damage).

I was suggesting 2 shots for rail that will kill cause most of rail shots are pure luck,and I'm still of the opinion that it would make the game much more interesting.As for maps and not beeing able to bfg jump there,doesn't bother me that much.Imo we need maps designed for e+,then u can decide and adapt the map structure to the cfg possibilities.

maps designed for e+ is pretty crappy.
maps designed for osp are so good cuz u have a gameplay with the weapons knockback and selfdamage and famous strafe jumps like bridge to rail are just possible through random maps.
in e+ the knockback of weapons is so big that u have to fit the movements to the maps and not the maps to the movement.
u can try but maps wont get better just bigger.
lol ..skill ur talking about maps that've already been developed by e+ guys..what ratz is saying is that we NEED to develop more maps that are suited to e+ game play...neways im with ratz on this one...2 rail kills..probably a little less splash on bfgs etc...btw did u guys know that air rocket shots are guaranteed kills while air bfg shots are not! lol...its freaking frustrating when i get like a superb air bfg shot and it doesnt kill!!!!

not sure what the response would be but we should also maybe try a little selfdamage to reduce the freeb effect of bfg jumps...just floating the idea...also imo perhaps we should consider making armour a little more important?

insane doesnt mean it isnt possible.
but its already hard on e5 cfg with fast switch and should be even harder on plus.cfg.
i would give cpm switch a try in this community and btw maps with easy bfg jumps are nooby, no hard improvement of bfg jumps just normal move that can be "spammed"...
