e5 isn't excessive plus?
E5 it is,
and it is preatty good branch of E+. I often play E5 cfg when not enough players on BRO TDM servers. I dont see huge difference between two branches, on some modifications are preatty close to BRO. E5r with multyjumps on EN servers. Yes, alot details are different, faster switch, and different weapon strenght, but those people know bether use of different weapons then BRO players. They also deffinetly move faster, shot faster etc, they are faster.

in E+ mod is in name EXCESSIVE, but more then that EXCESSIVEPLUS. So, we are EXSCESSIVE. Fast moving, healt 300 and pump up without collecting. So, we have excessive healt. Have excessive railgin with strenght 900. We have multijumps and dont hurt self with own weapon.
e5 doesn't have railgun with 900 damage or multiple jumps.
Let's take the logical steps one at a time here:
e5: physics 0 (if i am not mistaken), no multiple jumps, railgun with less than 100 damage IS excessive plus
brocfg: physics 2/1, multiple jumps, railgun with huge damage IS excessive plus
bla.cfg: physics 2, no multiple jumps, railgun probably not instakill (still on discussion), no multiple jumps IS NOT excessive plus

one post up. You dont read it, or you simply dont wanna take it.... Both branches are more then excessive = excessiveplus. Explore excessive first then explore E5, E5r, Excessive Nature, and BRO, then you will got it why we are E+. But anyway it is OFF topic, make topic what is core of E+, and you will got answer if you cannot catch by yourself.
Tell me propousal how to solve problem with spawnkilling and respawn killing to both sides have at least equal chances to make good fight without huge advantage which mostly depend of luck : That is what I wanna leasten here. And in same time dont change core of E+......

What is bla.cfg won't have that e5 and bro have? I read philosophy here. Tell me in simple terms. For instance, the difference between two walls is color, texture, bricks.
taratos we talk here about the main cfg of this comunity not about new ones, kep up with the topic please, and if u wana im can give u 3 new configs that can suit u, but not in this topic...
I agree with Tar. Just because it will be different, it dosen't mean it will not be EXCESSIVE. Even after toning down the weapons a little and introducing armor use once again, no other popular mod will offer such insane movement possibilites and fast paced battles.
The worst possible thing for a mod as a whole that can happen, is stagnation. Look at E+ predecessor, Pants. Because of no progress, that mod is well on it's way to oblivion. There is a constant need of changes, without changes we fall into a routine which sooner or later will make people get bored.... we don't want that. And the possibility to attract other mod players certainly won't hurt things.
mow talked about a test server so two cfgs will "live" together. If it will be successful it still won't replace brocfgs, i think. Changing so many things makes a new cfg pretty much. These two arguments prove, at least to me, that we talk about a new cfg here...and probably a whole new branch of e+, running on a few servers. That's how i see it.
I pmed term and i believe he will move all posts to a thread or to the new forum (?). No harm done.

Personally, i will play on both brocfgs and this one. I am not the only one that wants a new cfg that offers a bit deeper gameplay but still within the terms of e+.
Still, you didn't explain why this cfg some suggest here "won't be" e+.

btw, if you join all servers then you'll see that there is a GREAT variety of cfgs and some don't look anything like we are used to. Noone will force people to join the servers with this cfg. :roll:
yors concuslion may be right tar. but still autor of the topic wana get rive spawncamping in plus.cfg and im wanted to prove thats is aint posible withnout major changes in cfg, changes that will make from it way deferent thing that it was
and if u ask me about the core it is for me instakill weapons, overpowered weapons, and deadly fast movement
btw i pointed it alredy twice here but i remind u the thing, if we will be have in plus.cfg a weapon from wich we can kill instantly there will be spawncamping as it is in IU as a primary tactic
