they could not do that five years ago neither few months ago, i mean integrating the eplus mod to ql, since all server side stuff was only operated by id as well as their servers where under their rights, so basicaly this wasnt possible, now i think something can be done, but edev team is dead aniiway.

steam workshop is open for creativity tools targeted directly to create mods
this mean when quake live is now open for steam workshop, we can manipulate with all
now this days start work on new mods of quake live all around world
so what we need to get E+ run in ql?If e+ devs don't wanna do that, maybe they could upload e+ sources to public access and community could give a try?
I was looking a little bit, how we can modify quake live and found this:

This guy created already small mods. I downloaded it and tried to modify. It is simple, like weapon cfg's in E+ (I made defrag.cfg for E+). I think that we can already modify all weapons this way to plus.cfg except the bfg with grenades (maybe we don't need the grenades!?!). But i have just overflown the cvars, so i can't promise it. Plus i couldn't find a cvar for multijump.
I don't have time anymore to create configs. If anyone have time to try out, if he can emulate the weapons this way to plus.cfg, then we just need to ask if they could add a multijump command.

It's just a config. You have to load it. Open Quake live and create a server, then u can see different configs to load. Instagib, regular quake live.... The Plus.cfg would be on the same place.

Our hud is based on the ql hud and the scoreboard from ql is OK.
The missing things are for me multijump and this special bfg with grenades, if u look to the configs which we are really using (plus, rusrail, r4e...). U can set much more at E+, but nobody use it.

ql can have multijumps, but not bgf granade thingy, and ofc the unlagged eplus works a bit better that ql one if u ask me, other that that nothing more? I guess.
Heck ill volunteer if $ is needed ( com on dev ) .
