I agree with you Wonko, lately Joe from OOC gave me few songs of Joe Satriani and I was really under impress. Also guitar of Andy Latimer is awesome, especially in songs like Stationary traveller or Ice.

Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Other Side
Skunk Anansie - Charlie Big Potato
Guano Apes - Open Your Eyes
Kidney Thieves - Before I'm Dead
U2 - The sweetest thing
Queen - Show must go on

I prefer harder electronic music like Hardstyle and some Hardcore from the industrial corner. Considering most music styles mentioned here, i wont punish you with any links. Big grin

Ohhh you want to talk guitar instrumental...I would like to recommend Steve Vai's "Passion and Warefare" Disc. I personally looove "For The Love Of God," from that disc. (Agie I will send you some Steve Vai, if you like...)

Paul Gilbert is excellent also.

Aww that's cool. Piano is great. It's too bad you don't play anymore. I would love to send you something I played. I have to get a program that lets me record. I think HK Ratsalad knows of a program. Big grin

nice

good to know there are people around who love joe satriani and guitar instrumental music...but for some reason ive never liked vais music as much as joes...probably because joes music is richer in terms of melodic content..plus i dont think vai is as skilled as joe..

ive always wanted to learn to play music..tried the violin when i was a kid..then realized that playing music takes lots and lots of practice..and thats something i hate!..would like to learn the piano and drums tho..

Joe Satriani taught Steve Vai and Metallica's Kirk Hammet. I think Satriani is great. The "Surfing With The Alien" disc is great. As is his sophmore effort "Flying In A Blue Dream"--that disc has great tunes such as: "Mystical Potato Head Goove Thing," "The Feeling," and "The Forgotten(Parts I and II)." I have always been a huge fan of Satriani, Vai, and Gilbert.
